I know there are lots of preamps with phantom power built in, but are there any computer soundcards/interface cards or boxes that have:
1. DAW interface
2. Mic preamp(s)
3. 48v Phantom poer

all in one? I only require enough inputs for stereo, mono mic and 1 midi in/out/thru.
If so, I would appreciate Manufacturer's name and model so I can research further. Thanks in advance for your time and effort.

can you do firewire? There's lots there...

Another alternative is getting componants: eg - M audio Delta 1010 (interface/converter), 8 pre strip like the M audio Octane; SP 828; Focusrite Octopre LE; Nady, SMPro Audio, and Behringer make cheaper ones...)

if you're smart about it and buy used you can likely pick up a 1010 and the Beri 8 pre strip for 5 or 6 hundred...I just got a used 1010 (my second) for 300 Canadian, so I imagine you might be able to find something similar for 250 US if you wait and look...A used Octane went for 357 US today on Ebay...

I know you only want a couple ins, but this setup gives you 8 analog ins/outs(1.4" trs), a spidf in/out, and a Midi in and out plus eight preamps. Another option is getting a couple good cheaper pres now (M audio DMP3 $125 used, DBX 386 $250 used, EH 12AY7 $dunno) and add more variety to the collection as you get more funds...some say that 8 of the same pre isn't a great idea - variety is useful...
