Hello, have a question maybe some of you can answer for me... here's the equipment I have:
Alesis SR16
MacBook Air
Roland Cakewalk UA-4X Interface
I want to use this to map out and record drum parts. What's the cheapest (or possibly free, albeit a longshot) computer program I can get for my MacBook to bring it all together? My interface is already up and running, and I have previous (very previous) experience with the SR16. I'm not looking for anything special or fancy, just something to lay it down with. Is Audacity good enough, or am I looking for something else?
