I'M CONSIDERING PURGHASING ALESIS POINT SEVEN MONITORS. I LIKE THE FACT THAT THEY ARE SMALL BUT I'M CONCERNED ABOUT THE SIZE OF THESE AS IN PERFORMANCE.,THEY'RE ONLY 11 INCHES HIGH AND 7 INCHES WIDE.TO BORROW A OLD LINE "SIZE DOES'NT MATTER",FORGIVE ME, BUT DOES IT? SHOULD I GO WITH MONITOR ONES? THEY ARE BIGGER, I WILL USE THESE TO MONITOR AND MIX, AND I'M ON A BUDGET, WHO ISN'NT!

I use point 7's and dig them! Give 'em a listen if you get a chance before you buy. What sold me was the balance between the small size (not much space on my desk), the full sound and the fair price. If i had to harp on anything, they might be a bit too "bright" in the midrange. But i might be a bit biased. I'm still getting used to listening to music through flat monitors. The 'smiley face' eq that i've been used to listening to music though is a tough habit to break :)

I've a pair of Point 7s. I've not had anything to compare it with except my old Yamaha MS202. The Point 7s definitely sounds better than them. If you are doing dance music with a lot of bottom end I will not recommend the Alesis 7s as its rather weak in this area. Other than that, its a fine pair of monitors.

THANKS FOR THE HELP GUYS, I APPRECIATE WHAT YOU SAID RHOADZ, THAT YOU CAN HEAR THE DIFFERENCE IN THESE "FLAT"RESPONSE UNITS AS OPPOSED TO REGULAR STEREO SPEAKERS, AND GLAD YOU GUYS LIKE EM, I WILL GO TO SAM ASH AND GIVE EM A LISTENING. HR
