Does anyone have this. Looks like a great deal. This might sound dumb, but i'm looking for something that i can run 8 XLR's in the mixing board and then 8 1/4" out into my STAudio 8 Track Sound Card Interface. Are there any other mixing boards that can do this. What kind of specs should i look for. So far, if this can do that, that would be great. I figure this with an 8 1/4" snake will do what i need. My interface only has 2 XLR's and 8 1/4", thats why i want the 8 XLR on the mixing board, and an output for each individual track on the board. Thanks.

I useit, I got a great deal on one from Musicians Friend when they were selling them for 230$. I'm happy with it. The only other pres I have to compare it to are from my old Mackie that died and a presonus tubepre. I liek it much more the then presonus, and just as good as the mackie. The pres won't sound very "warm" or "huge" but they sound good enough for me. I have mine going to a delta 1010, and right now the pres are not holding me back. It is good enough to be useful, and I'm sure they are atleast as good as the pres on your ST card.

does it have an output for each individual track? If so sounds great. Should i try a nice Behringer Eurorack or should this Alesis do? Thanks!

Channels 1-8 all have inserts. You can use the inserts as firect outs for each channel fo yuor card. I've never used a Behringer, but I can't imagine any cheap 8 channel Behr board sounding better then the Alesis.

sounds like i found a keeper then. I think i might go ahead with it, too bad i missed the $230 deal. Thanks a lot!!!!!!
