Anyone have any experience with the newer mixers, studio 24 and 32? I'd be interested to hear how they are. Reviews on the 32 I've read are positive. How are the pre's; any cross-talk problems?

Probably not the best use of your money, but definitely better than Behringer or Phonic!

I have both (for sale)!

The 24 & the 32 are average, basic,every-day mixers!

Pros: The pre's are decent,not great,but decent!
EQ is workmanlike does, again, a decent job! Pretty good overall
construction and ease of use!! Direct-outs (RCA connections) which eliminate the need to repatch. Balanced and unbalanced
opereation

Cons: Buttons so small, that you cannot tell if their depressed or not. No switchable +4/-10 operation. Constant cleaning of faders
(contacts must be clean if you ride the faders often) limited bussing ops on both mixers. Limted auxes/rets on both (the 24 has 2 and 4 on the 32) A little overpriced for it's overall quality!

They both perform, here's that word again, DECENTLY!!

They're at least better than Behringer! ;)

Bear, what mixers would you suggest as an alternative to the Alesis Studio 32 at a similar price point?
