alesis io2 sound issue

Hi everyone.

I am having difficulty getting sound out of my cubase 4le which came with the alesis io2 interface. The sound bars are moving on the cubase screen, but no sound im afraid.

Also, when i have the midi plugged in, the midi out light on the interface is lit up, but not the midi in. Again, no sound. Thanks in advance.

do you have the track armed?
are you sure you have your output/speakers/monitors setup right?

I dunno what having the track armed means. But I do have the software all installed.
