I cant get these two components to play nicely together on a consistent basis.

My main problem is double triggering, it sorta sounds like a mega fast flam.

Any one have this problem, and found a way around it?

Thanx in advance.

-Finster.

Oh BTW, im only using triggers on the kick and snare.

if your using the new roland on the rt-t3 rim triggers return them as fast as you can. go with the dd-drum red shots . THOSE RIM TRIGGERS ARE NOTHING BUT TROUBLE.i took a beating on mine and even roland told me there have been problems with the tom triggers. the snare trigger works o.k. but i talked to a guy with much trigger experience and he said the snare trigger will sometimes get confused with the rim trigger. GO WITH THE DD-DRUM.

I haven't had my dm5 hooked up for a long time, but I remember a parameter that you set to tell it how much time has to go by before it will trigger a sound again. I am experiencing brain fade (damn turkey dinners!) so I can't remember the name. but it is under trigger parameters (like xtalk, velocity, etc.)

Have one...

I Haven't used the triggers on the DM5 as mine is a sound module...
But, perusing the controls - I believe there's also a sensitivity setting for how you want the DM5 to "listen" to the trigger as well...

This may help with picking up those new triggers that gemsbok was talking about...

Hope this helps...
