Alesis D4 Power supply

Hey, i just bought a D4 on Ebay and it didnt come with a power supply, i know it requires 9v, and i think i am going to just get a 9v 1200ma Power Adapter at Radioshack, does anyone know if this will be adequate?

Use only AC-Output power supplies for proper results with Alesis products! DC-Output power supplies are incorrect and can cause damage to your Alesis product.

It'll either work or it won't. The unit will likely power on but the buffer may overflow if the right amount of milliwatts aren't supplied-THAT's where they get you so that you have to purchase the original OEM supply. I have a DM5 I tried this on one time, and while it isn't the D4, you may have the same problem but good luck.
