Alctron Group Buy Ribbon Problems

We have a group buy going on over at:

This is for the Alcatron CR-14 double ribbon model. Looks cool. Cheap enough to take a flyer on it.

I wonder why the price is so high on that group buy. Perhaps:

1) Someone is tacking on a profit, or
2) Alcatron has raised the price of the mic considerably since January, or
3) Someone has simply miscalculated the costs involved.

Based on the actual costs that we experienced in the last group buy, this mic should be delivered to any door in the US for under $100, assuming no one is profiting on the transaction. Even if you add in the Fundable surcharge, it seems that there is an extra $25 or so per mic buried in that pricing.

There's probably a good explanation....

I too would be most interested in picking up a mic or 12 if someone organizes a group buy
