Hi Folks

I have a D25 for sale. It is in full working order, but cosmetically it looks its age (C. 1972).

This is the daddy of kick drum mics, but can be more versatile than just bass instruments. They used to be used for VOX and general purpose work on TV and film studio floors.

$900 plus shipping from the UK, or nearest offer.

I will accept a straight swap for a top quality (John Hardy etc) mic pre? 2 channels prefered, but will consider single channel if the model is right. Must work on UK power (240v 50Hz).
 
I would come down to $800 plus shipping from UK and MAY consider a quality 24bit A/D converter as a trade, but would prefer a mic pre, dual if possible.

I may also consider a multi pattern tube mic, but not one of the cheaper ones.

Below the post composition page there's a browse box. Just select the pic as long as it's less than the max size and it should go on fine.

Just thought I'd bump my ad back up and let you all know I still have the D25.

I was hoping that someone may make an offer? Fletcher advised me to sell in August as this is when producers are looking for new toys to record albums? He said to put it on Ebay with a reserve of $750. Mind you, the D25 is his favorite kick drum mic, so he may value it higher than you guys? I will auction it in August if I have had no response.

Can anyone recommend a cleaning fluid that will restore the mic a little without damage? Maybe if it looks a little nicer I will get some interest?
