Akg C 430?

I'm looking for a decent pair of overhead condensors. The AKG C430's sounded really good for my purposes and budget, but does anyone have experience with these?

They're not very versitle. I had a pair for a while, they were okay for drum overheads and pretty much useless other than that. Just my experience....

Okay, yeah, I kind of want to have a versatile couple of mics. Other stuff I may consider:

Rode NT5 matched pair

Behringer B-5 condensor

PRO-37R Cardioid Condenser Mic

AT3031 Cardioid Condenser Microphone

I'm kinda leaning toward either the Rodes or getting two of the Audio Technicas. What do you all think?

I'm personally looking at the Studio Projects C4's for overhead drums. You should check them out. The price just dropped to 320 for a pair!

Those look cool. However, I can get the Rodes for $300 on Interstate Music, whereas they normally cost $400 most other places. I think I might be going that route.
