Akai DPS16 Help

I have the Akai DPS16 with an external Yamaha CD Burner. I have burned a wav file onto a cd and am trying to load it into the Akai.

I have version 3.02 installed on the Akai. When I go into the copy tracks section to pull the file from the burner, i get this error:

41:
Set 512 byte / sector failed.

Does anyone know why this is and can help me fix it. Thanks.

Nevermind Im a idiot. I tryed to access the tracks from the wrong spot. I went to the load wav and it worked without a flaw.
 
Did you burn the wave file from a computer and load it into the 16? I didn't know that was possible.
 
Yeah, actually I sold the Akai but its possible to poad a wav into the machine.

Every since Ver 2.02 or something if im not mistaken.

1. Make sure you have a CD Drive hooked up via SCSI port. You cant transfer the data through the digital cables.
2. Once you have a Project fired up Go to Edit
3. There should be towards the end an option to load Wav from CD.
Select that and get the file from the cd and select okay
