When I record vocal tracks, they always sound kind of airy. I was wondering what frequencies I would have to cut to remove it, or if there is anything else I can do about it. Thanks.
Have the performer stand closer to the mic. Granted you may have more issues with breathing, and its associated noises. But youll get a much more intimate sound. What mic are you using?
I am using a crappy $20 Radio Shack Mic to record. The sound isn't lacking in low end, but the singer just sounds really "breathy". I was just wondering if there was any specific frequencies to cut that would reduce that.
