Air and Breath sounds for vocals

You Can Get More Breath On Vocals By Using Milky Compression. It Will Bring Up The Low Level Audio. You Can Get More Air By Boosting Eq In The Extreme Highs Around 13-16khz.

Another Way Of Getting More Air Is To Use A High Powered Fan Pointed In The General Direction Of The Mic While Recording Vocals With A Condenser. Or Blow Into The Mic A Lot. Blow Very Hard And Wet.

Try this Walters. Grab a Mr. Microphone and jump out of an airplane. With no parachute of course. The parachute would ruin the air effect on the way down. You should be able to achieve that nice creamy squashed sound after a minute or so.

Acoustic guitars have more of Air sounding when recording
So does Woodwinds breathing and Air is recorded

For Vocals how can i add more Air and Breath to the Vocals?

sound more like a acoustic guitar or a woodwind

Peter Gabriel had Daniel Lanois remix his albums in 5.1 for his Play videos collection DVD. There is an interview of Daniel Lanois available for viewing at www.petergabriel.com or www.petergabriel.co.uk. In this interview Daniel Lanois wanted to add more "air" (as he put it) to the vocals and either he and/or the assistant engineer dialed in somewhere in the neighbourhood of 10,000 Hz and boosted that frequency area to achieve this result.

A previous poster was right -- maybe Walters actually had a semi-legit question this time.

I was thinking about running my vocals through a Air conditioning
unit so the Active Mic can get the Air of the Air conditioning picking
that up with my Vocals it would sound really creamy Air wind

Does a Vocal Processor have Breath and Air parameters ?

Or any Techniques to get the Active Mic to Capture the Breathing
and Air from the Singers Vocals?

You must hold your breath for 5 minutes before any important recording. That ensures that the air will be on your recordings and not floating around the room. I urge you to try this secret technique immediately.

Why does a a condensor mic help more to create air and breath?

Is it because of the 48volts?

its a Active Microphone picking up more?

Why does a Acoustic Guitar when im recording acoustic guitar
is sound more Air and Breath than a Electric guitar?

Acoustic guitar has the hollowbody with a Whole so thats a speaker

Electric Guitar has a Speaker

So they both have speakers but the acoustic guitar has more air
and breath to it why is that?

Woodwinds also when i record them sounds very winding and Air
and Breath why is that?

Whats making this Air and Breath and Wind sounds?

Walters.......you can't possibly be this stupid! I have only been a member here a few days and either you are the biggest dumbass in the world or this is just a running joke on this forum.....I have however seen your name on another forum(audioforums.com) where you totaly eclipsed our resident dumbass!
Do you record for a living? If you do, I can only imagine what kind of crap that passes through your studio. I apologize to everyone else for this rant but, I have a hard time with stupidity......GEEZ! I'm from eastern Kentucky where we all have had some really good cousin lovin' and even WE are not this stupid, I can only imagine that the gene pool in Walter's family has no deep end! :o

Shit dude, that was mild compared to what I've been giving him. You have to be careful with wally, show him anything other than total disrespect and you're his new best friend. Then all of his quanswers are directed towards you, watch out!

1.Yes WaLtErS, it does.

2.Yes WaLtErS, you can strategically place several Omni-directional mics 12-15 feet away from the source. Of course this is merely air that is random phase noise.

I am waiting....I know you are going to tell us how. :D

He never actually tells how. He types what he finds in the book and then asks for an explaination. All this time I thought he just needed to read the manual, when in actuality even comprehending what he reads seems to be an insurmountable task.

In a way, Walters has been good for me. I've done more Googling, reading and note taking than I've done for a while....I am doing this until I nod out at the puter, sometimes 3am...So for that, I thank him. He's stirred up my cravings and creativity juices...And the fact that he ask HOW something actually does what it does, and WHY shows some coloration to his purpose. But whatever, I do not get angry about it..I've grown rather fond of whomever or whatever Walters is... :)
