I'm listening to headphones that tend to be slightly bass heavier than most, but I think the bass is too powerful. Good song though.

I`m not listening through monitors, so bare that in mind.
The songs siunds cool, kinda james Taylor at times.
I think the guitars have some pushed highs, that make em`m a bit to sharp.
maybe lower the high mids or something, to mellow em down a tad

Yeah a lot of low end resonance going on. Anything not nailed down in my room is rattling. My snare is buzzing and the floor toms are humming. 
I don't have much experience with acoustic guitars, but this one sounds maybe too compressed, or like it's an electric/acoustic recorded direct. It lacks whatever that natural quality is that makes an acoustic sound natural.

Song sounds nice. Vocals are good.
I would bring the vocals up a bit. Bring them out over the rhythem section. The guitar sounds a bit bass heavy, maybe just knock down the stuff under 1k on the EQ a bit - or turn down the bass a bit. Its hard to tell whats making the rumble.

First off, I like the song. Now to get down to it, it does sound a bit in the low end, and a lot in the high end. Almost like the middle was robbed, and the two extreme ends were boosted. They need to be tamed a bit, but other than that it is a really cool song. I love the way the guitars are played. I think this EQ on the kind of harmonic driven guitar is ok, and on the vocal it is ok. It is just that central guitar.

I think you're cheating yourself with vocals. You've got a great voice and sing well. I'd like to hear the vox more full sounding and not notched out. It's sounds too mid-ish and compressed. On this song, vocals should stand out front and everything else is a supporting role.
I think at 5+ minutes this song goes too long for the style. The intro guitar riff is very nice and pleasant, but it gets used a lot. The song maintains an even flow and nothing new is thrown out, so the listener's attention starts to wane before the end.
The little electric lead solo near the end can come up a bit.

Song is nice but you put too much bass on it. Besides that, I hear some "natural" noises from the guitar that are distracting me (finger noise, tapping on the wood, strings rattling) Myabe I'm a freak and that's only on my mind.

I´m considering you´re only showing the song (or you have the 2003 tracks for a remix)?
Bass region 80-100 hz needs a severe cut and the hi mids (between 2 and 5k) sounds a bit harsh.

That's funny...I agree its bass heavy but it sounds more mid bass heavy to me....somewhere around the 150 to 300 hz range. But I agree the mid-highs are a little harsh. But hell...its six years old.

I was messing around the other night with a stereo mix I had done a long time (let's see if I can make this a bigger mess than it already is).
I originally recorded it to a Tascam 424mkIII. I'm not sure if I still have the original 4 track tape, so I'll have to hunt around to see if I can find it and start over again. Hmmmm? Tracking a different bass track might be a good idea too.
