Howdy People! Hope ya'll recording good. This is 2tone - a primer newb at your service. I was googling about 'Hip Hop Recording' and I landed onto this website. Can't really ask much on the first night but I'm planning to learn alot from these forums. Lets not start with the 'I have this, how to do that' questions, so can someone please route me to some good tutorial about Basics of Hip Hop Vocal Recording using DAW and mics and interfaces. I know all the pieces but I wan't to know everything in detail. Yes, I've seen alot of tutorials and guides but they're usually something I'm not looking for. I just want to setup a basic studio with Mic, interface, midi, mixer(lord, I don't even know what equipment in all is required.) and get going! Yeah, checkout the hip hop forum... guitaristic's faux thread is whipping all the others on post count..

Apparently youse guys don't like to share y'secrets much.
