Hi, in my home studio im using a M Audio Delta 1010 which has 8 inputs i wish to use all 8, but the software that i using at the moment shows the inputs as follows:

M Audio 1/2

M Audio 3/4

M Audio 5/6

M Audio 7/8

In the manual for the delta 10/10 its say's that some software may show the inputs like this. and some softwares may so them as:

M Audio 1

M Audio 2

M Audio 3

M Audio 4

M Audio 5

M Audio 6

M Audio 7

M Audio 8

I looking to change to cubase sx 3, can anyone tell me if all 8 channels will be avalible for me to use

many thanks jimmy2002

It should be. Which software are you using now? Make sure in your current software that you have mono recording enabled. It looks like your software is only recognizing stereo channels and grouping the 1010 inputs accordingly. If you are recording to a mono track, it should allow a mono input channel.

I use Cubase SE with the Delta 1010lt and all inputs are available. ;)

im using home studio 2004 by maxi's i tried enabled mono but it just combiend channels 1 + 2 in to track 1 and i need them on differen't tracks

thats strange... cubase 1.x through sx2 have never done that with my event layla 20... starting with sx 2, cubase has split all the stereo channels into mono channels (or you can stereo them up again if you wish)... i'm guessing its your software

God. I need to start reading threads more thoroughly. For each stereo connection you should be able to select the individual left/right input. If not, then the program isn't very flexible and you should move to Cubase sooner rather than later.
