Advice on mix

Hi everyone

I wanted to try to mix everything myself instead of using a completed mix. So here it is. I mixed all the instruments and vocals together
and wanted to hear your opinion..... What do you think? Too crappy? .

I have to admit, I am a little confused. This is a first class recording at the pro-level. Did you just get a master and remix? Depending on the use, which is important, itf for listening, I think it could use a little boost in the high end for some sparkle. If used for background, the mix would work very well.

Could we get a bit more information on this recording? It seems too good for a Homerecording.

Sounds like AI - where was it recorded? - and did use a full band? - And was the Vocalist live while the band played?

I wasn't the one to record them.... I only mixed them. I do not know where they recorded. It was a project that I downloaded so I was able to practice

there is not much I can add... there is this site where you can download multitrack projects so you can practice. That is all there is to it. I never mentioned the word RECORDING in my original post. I said I MIXED it.

The track is by "Lindy Hip Big Band."

Again, I did not record them. Sounds like a live band. and it is not AI ... I have all the live tracks and I can hear band leak on the vocal track.

Do you mean overal or on something specific? Actually, I gave it a listen again, and I think I agree with you. The woman sounds somewhat brighter than the music. Even tohugh I gave a little boost, think it needs more
