advice on buying used monster cables and mix-matching them

should i buy used monser cables and also.........

should i use Monster Rock Performer 500 Instrument Cables to
hook up effects to my amp or effects to my guitar or both?

or should i get a monster guitar cable for this.

buy used, break them and take them to a dealer, get new ones no questions asked.
 
can i use an instrument monster cables to connect my pedals to my amp.

also can i use instrument cables to connect from my guitar to my effects?

Yes.

I wouldn't get too caught up in the monster cable hype. I don't know of too many people that can hear a difference even on the finest monitoring systems between the cables "designed" for bass vs. guitar, keyboards, etc. And if you are using them live, I'd get the most durable cables you can find. That would probably not be Monster.
