Adobe Audition 1.5 Not Compatible With Behringer UCA 200

I had Adobe Audition 1.5 installed on my computer (I'm going to reinstall the software again). I tried to use it as my main recording software but the problem is, it's not compatible with my Behringer U-Control USB Interface for the Xenyx 1204FX. It doesn't recognize it as a recording device on the program.

As you all may know, I'm new to this whole multi-track recording. I would really appreciate if you guys tell me the cause to this problem.
 
Let's see...make sure the device is selected by windows (right click on the speaker icon in the tool tray and look at Options to see if the device is recognized) and also check that the volume is turned up.

Open up Device Manager and check that there are no problems with the device (but I have used a lot of USB devices and never had a problem).

Start AA and go to Options/Device Order (I think it is) and make sure the Behringer is selected as the wave in and wave out device (be sure to check "Use in EV" or you'll not be able to hear playback in Edit View).

Finally, check that the proper inputs are selected in the field at the left end of each track.

Hope this helps. I've used various and sundry hardware bits with Cool Edit Pro and AA, and there's always a way.
 
Very glad to hear it. CEP drove me barking mad in the early days, trying to figure out the signal routing, so I know more than I want to about it.
