I just got this mic off of Ebay today, and it is seriously the best mic I've ever used for my voice. It has a really nice bottom and an elevated top end that flatters, but never results in excessive sibilance. Simply amazing for the price, especially since I got it for $300 off of ebay. It's definitely worth the $600 new asking price, though, IMO.

I wasn't as impressed with it on acoustic, but it still yielded a completely usable sound. I little top-heavy, but nice nonetheless.

congrats on your purchase, cominginsecond! That was a really good deal, and it sure is a fine mic.

I'd luv to hear a sample. Actually, when I was shopping for a LDC a few months ago, that mic was on top of my list (new). However, when Microtech-Gefell had their 75th anniversary sale, and I had the chance to get the M930 for the same price ($600), I grabbed the Gefell.

P.S.: there one on Ebay right now for $399 with less than an hour of use. Sounds like a good deal to me. I wish I had GAS!

Good job on the Gefell score! That thing normally goes for around a grand.
