Adding Album Art

While 99.999999% of mastering is auditory, there's also the aspect of adding album art. When I pop in the latest 50 cent cd, I see the album art in Windows Media Player, and when I click more info, a short description of the CD. I don't know how much of this stuff is coming from the internet or my cd, but I'd really like to know how one adds the art, and possibly even a description, to a CD. If anyone can take the time to explain, i'd appreciate it.

I am not sure if you are talking about enhanced CD or regular cd played in a software with artist information display feature. IF it si a enhanced cd there will be html or flash page in teh data section of teh cd and you burn audio and data seperately in multisession. If it is the software feature, you just need to find the right software to embbed the information into the file, I know that musicmatch can be used to create album art and descriptions to some extent.
