It's pretty awesome so far, but my midi pad hasn't arrived yet so there's only so much I can do for now :D

IIRC there is one for addictive though gimmie sec to find it.

Too bad you don't have LE5. You would have a virtual keyboard so you can play with computer keyboard. :(

Oh wait, haha.

ACTUALLY.

The easiest way is to set addictive to GM and use the GM map. IMO way easier than trying to find a 1.0 cubase map to dick with.

Yeah, then make your own map and save. Problem with AD is different kits are not layed out the same. Have to create a new map for each. Not like it takes that long to make em, but would be nice if they supplied them. EZD maps are easy to find, but it is EZD......

I mean like so:

This (have to have the update version 1.5 to see this option)

Then this in cubase:

It's pretty amazing! Especially if you get a few add-on packs!

Do you use Cubase LE4 or the full version G? Can you send individual drums to different buses? With EZDrummer you need the full version of Cubase to do that :(

I have EZdrummer and ECO so I already have 2 drum programs, but you guys seem to rave about Addictive so I'm thinking I should probably get it...

I don't believe so. :( It is LE that is the limitation, as it doesn't allow multiple outs from a single VSTi.

Still, the amount of control you have with 'each' drum in AD, blows EZD out of the water.

Pitch, decay/sustain, compressor, distortion,eq, two eq-able reverbs for each individual drum.

I'm fairly certain the lack of VSTi rack is only an issue with LE.

ok I'm sold... :)

it's only money

I been in the studio EVERY day for the last two weeks! Should have some new stuff for the clinic soon

Only money? Then get a full version of Cubase! :)

Even with a full version, I way prefer AD over EZD. Not even close IMO.

Yeah, what Jimmy said. I'm actually gonna dig up the ole' test-version of Reaper and see if I can get used to it! Might start using that instead if I like it! :D

I just pulled up BFD ECO and it seems to do a lot of the same stuff as Addictive Drums. Individual EQ and compression/effects for each drum, tuning, 5 kits, etc. etc.
