what do i need to synchronize my adats (LX20) with Cubase VST 5.0? thanks for your help

I use a JLCooper Datasync 2. Works perfectly. I use MTC at 30 fps to sync 3 ADATs with Samplitude Producer and various sequencers including Cubase VST. Once it's set you never have to think about it. I don't think I've touched it in two or three years - maybe more.
You also, of course need a sound card that will accept MIDI. The Datasync 2 hooks up to the ADATs via the same cables used to sync the ADATs together, and the Datasync 2s MIDI outs go to your sound card.

so all you need is a souncard with lightpipe,midi in out and a data sync2 ??
Whats MTC?
And whaen you say sync with cubase does that mean that the transport controls in cubase opertate the Adats?

Yep, that's it.
MTC is MIDI Time Code.
And the ADATs work best as the masters, not slaves.

What do you set the ADATs clocks to? INT or DIG?

INT. DIG refers to the sound source, not the sync source.
