Hi. I'm currently looking for a pair of active monitors.
My budget is very tight, so I can't afford buying geneltec 1031a
or Mackie.
I'm looking for a monitor who is linear and accurate,
as deep as possible in the bottom and plays as loud as
possible. (I know this is alot to ask from monitors in this
price-class)
Where I live (norway) there are some monitors who are
cheaper than others for some reason. I've been looking for
a while now and there are two monitors who caught my
attention..
Studiophile sp 5b
Yamaha MSP-5
I know you guys probably want me to go down to the store
and listen, And I will do that. But I just want your opinion about
what you think..
I don't want a monitor that plays "good", I want
a monitor who tells the truth..
And I don't want to fall in love with a pair in my local store
because they sound Good, I need the most objective
monitor
Have any of you guys compared them both with a cd?
I've heard that Studiophile goes alot deeper in the bass area
and plays louder. But the yamaha msp-5 is more accurate ..
