The SLM-1s are the yorkville monitors under a dif name. I verified this by calling ART myself as they look exactly like the YSM1i. I dont know about the ART amp but the yorkvilles (and the slm1s) are just about the only thing worth looking at under a grand. Their only flaw is they dont go loud...that is the sound loses the smooth, effortless yorkville clarity and balance when you crank the speaker.

No prob. I didnt call on behalf of your thread, I had called ART couple of days ago about something else and got to talking about their relationship with yorkville as the ART monitors look and spec exactly the same as yorkville bec they are yorkvilles.

Enjoy them.
