I´m curious about the set up (mics, pre, converter) and room treatment;´sounds defined and with excellent stereo image(even on crappy speakers I´m listening now).

The room is untreated, but very few parallel surfaces, and quite large (1000 sq ft/ vaulted ceilings) . The two guitars were recorded simultaneously. I had them sit so they were comfortable. They chose to sit in kind of an L shape if that makes sense. Threw a Gefell M300 on each guitar about 12" out at the 12th fret. Used a Fearn VT2 into an Apogee AD16. Vox is a Gefell UM92.1 into a GR MP-2NV into the Apogee. There is two verbs on the guitars and a TINY bit of EQ. The vox has three verbs, a crapload of compression, and some eventide harmonizing on it. A TINY bit of EQ as well. I normally don't EQ vox, but I wanted it to be pretty verby, but maintain some presence, so there is a 1 db boost at 3.2, and hi passed at 60 hz.
You've got a real awesome sound going on here. I like your set up. Guitars sound really nice and bright without sounding brittle. Good song too. Keep it up.
NYMorningstar - I think the phase issues may be coming from all the heavy verbs. It needs some fine tuning, and I'll probably back it off a bit. It could be from the room, and be in the actual track too, so I'll check that.....
Gave this a listen on my stereo and couldn't here any of the phase issues. The only thing that may be an issue(and this is being really picky), is there's a little bit of sibilance from the sssinger. You could live with it or de-ess it a bit. Maybe that was the phasy sound I was hearing on the headset. Anyhow, the wife loves the tune, you're in!
