Hey Guys,

For acoustic treatment is there a specfic way to measure what your room needs in regard to acoustic treatment. Or for the home-studio does one method more or less do the job?

I was going to try to make the panels described in the Real Traps website three or six 3 and half inch panels for early reflections, four 5 inch bass traps for each corner and a six inch bass trap for the back of the room.

Thanks a lot

Kevin

If you look around on that same website, there is info on the measurement process.

Measuring is always nice -- But get a "base" of trapping before you even bother.

IME, broadband trapping in all four corners, floor-to-ceiling and four high-sides are an absolute minimum *before* shooting the space.
