Acoustic / rock new song, review for me please

Please listen and critique. I'd like mixing, sound quality, and even writing and performance advice if you have any.

I wrote this tune about 3-4 months ago but finally got around to recording it on Monday. It's still pretty basic with only one guitar and two vocals through most of the song and 3 guitars during the 2nd chorus. But the structure is there and I'll add bass, percussion, and maybe some string arrangements with a keyboard. The style is a mixture of acoustic / rock.

Recording quality is good and I like the songwriting. Song has a lot of potential if you rehearse the hell out of the vocal to get it consistently in tune. I'd retrack the elec gtr and get it really well in tune also.

You think the vocals wander? I guess they do on phrase ends and one or two of the chorus harmonies. It was a hard tune to hold steady singing that low in that key. The electric guitar needs an intonation setup. I was hoping it wouldn't be noticed, but you caught it. Damn!

I like it, it's definatley got potential.

Personally, I think you should try tuning the guitar down a 1/2 step...see if that helps. Heck, go 1 step down.....keep experimenting.

Perhaps if you're gonna sing at that key/level for the verses/bridges/etc, the chorus needs to be higher. If you can sing higher, try it.

Cool piece nonetheless.
When that electric guitar comes in it reminds me of Silent Hill music.
