I am looking at buying a new mic for my home recording studio. I have been using a sm57 and would like to a add a condensor mic. I will use it for vocals and alot of fingure style acoustic guitar. I have a pick up in my accoustic that I will blend with the mic. I am considering several mics in the $200 range. Is there a mic that will do a good job for both vocals and accoustic for this price. I am considering the AT 3035, MXL v67, and maybe the SP C1. All of which have had good reviews. I have also seen the Behringer B2 for $200. Is anyone using this mic? I haven't read any reviews on it other than it is supposed to be the same as the Rode NT2 ($400), which I have read good things about. It is the only one I have looked at that has multiple polar patterns. Is this important if you will more than likely only have one condensor mic for a while?
Any comments on these mics or others I might want to consider?
Thanks Alot,
J
