ACM Ribbons from Group Buy

I've got some Ribbon mics from one of the Group buys. They are new and have never been used. I was going to resell them on E-bay, but they have got sagging ribbons. They work but the signal output is low, and I'm just not comfortable selling them on E-bay, even though some of the buyers probably wouldn't know the difference. I was waiting for replacement ribbons from Chance to arrive, but I don't think that is ever going to happen.

So I'm offering them here to informed buyers who know what they are getting. If you know how to replace the ribbon or retension it, then these could be a good purchase.

ACM 2 --$40 (the lollipop variety) I've got two of them

ACM 3 --$45 (the Royer clone) I've got ten of them.

Plus shipping charges.

Shoot me a message if you are interested.

My advice would be to wait for the replacement ribbons. Either that or retension the existing ribbons. They won't be perfect, but they'll sound better.

BTW, the low output is probably not caused by lack of tension. These are ribbons. The output is very low by nature. If you're used to condensers, you'll be shocked. :)
