Acm-900 Demo

I almost forgot to video shoot this. We were ready to record, and I remembered to shoot this. I turned on the cameras WITHOUT doing registration and black/white balancing, hence the poor video. She looks weird on this too. The purpose of this recording (besides the mic-demo) was for the producer to get a band arrangment together for the final recording. I was asked by the producer to put breaks in the audio for whatever reason.

Wow, that sounds really nice! I don't think any of the GBuyer's that got the 900 will be reselling them. But a fella can hope

Something that might be worth mentioning. This "900" demo had no EQ on the way in or out, and only a touch of verb

i am pleasantly surprised how full and rich it sounds, particularly considering the distance from the mic she is.
You must have a nice room. Is it big? Small? Live? Dead?

Are you using you Console for the preamp or something else?

Sorry to be so nosy...It just sounds good and I want to know why!

We just got rid of the scratch guit that she played, and I noticed the original guitar (the one on you tube had noise) that noise was the Di on the scr guit.

Nice recording! Probably goes without saying, but it's worth confirming that this ACM-900 is "stock" - right?

One of the first things I had planned to do was to replace the transformers, but I may wait a little while if it sounds so good without mods.

Strangest thing
After hearing this mic as in the demo, last night I thought to try it on a female vox who sings with a lot of power, and this mic sucked big time!! I thought something was wrong with it, but I guess it's just the nature of the beast.

Very nice. It's the only item I ordered. Interesting about the distance and her rather soft singing. I'm taking that with the distance and the fact her "air" would be shooting below the mike, this is the reason there's no screen?
