Acidrock, thanks again for the help. I have 2 questions now again that I think u can help me with.

1. Everytime I try to change the instrument for one midi track via sonar, i hear the same instrument for all the tracks. How do I correct this?

2. Also, how do I save my finished product as an mp3 or wave with the exact sounds from my Sound Module?

1. You should be able to do this by assigning each instrument to a different midi channel (up to 16).

2. You need to record the midi to audio. Does your sound module have audio out connections. If so, feed the midi signal from Sonar to your sound module's midi in and then return an audio signal from the sound module and record it. You'll need to do this one track at a time if you want all the instruments on their own track. Once all your tracks are in audio format, you can export the project to a wave file.

He got the brains,I got the looks.(and the girls :p )

There's a pull down menu on the patch box in the midi track pane, from there you can assign the sound if you are using general midi,or a softsynth.
There are ins. files(instrument definitions) you can download that can give you acess to your modules non-GM sounds.

I don't know what terminology Korg uses, but you may be able to set a performance preset that automatically loads specific sounds to specific channel, that way you only need to change the output channel on your controller to access different sounds.
