Here's a song I wrote last night, that I recorded today...

It's called For Your Glory and it's based on Phillipian chapter 3

I'm not sure if I'd use it as a congregational song, but it's a P&W song...

I'm doing everything, except the drums, which is a simple loop I made using leaf drums 2

Overall, it's a very pleasant song. It seemed like the vocals were having a little trouble getting on tune at the beginning. The drums could use a little more variety. I have the same challenge because I used a drum machine.
 
Sounds like a well put together song. You vocals are too far out front of the mix. Need to fall into the mix with the vocals a bit more. The drums too me fit the song just fine, keeping it in the acoustic feeling realm. I think the problem with the vocals might be that you sang them a little too relaxed up on the mic. Maybe back off the mic a bit and belt it little more. You might also raise the key of the tune a little to get it into your comfortable singing range. Anyway, I like the form of the song. Wait, just ended. Get rid of the last few drum hits after the guitars and vocals end. Too false sounding. I would end it at together.

I"ve fixed the vocal volume I think... hope it's right now...

and i've axed the drums at the end...

I'll re-record the vox sometime. I actually like that tessitura. Becuase I'm only singing with out much foucs and 'oomph' t feels good. When I do my 'real' singing I sing in a higher tessitura.. but that's not the kind of singing I want on this track...
