What would be the best configuration to track acoustic guitar and vox at the same time?
I pondered an AT 4050 at the singer, turned slightly up in cardoid mode and a KSM 109 SDC about 5 inches out at the bridge.
I know it would be best to track em separate but we've tried this before and it's just not as good. The feel or groove or whatever it is just isn't there so much.
(My mics are...V67G, AT 4050 and 3035, Shure KSM109's (pr) SP B1's (pr) CAD E200 and the drum mics...57, 58 Audix I5 and Shure Beta 52.)
