I don't know of any one specifically that uses Audition for mastering. But it is quite capable for mastering.

Considering mastering companies wouldn't need your Audition session to master your songs, I don't see how it's relevant?

They master your mixed down wav files. Your final mix of the entire song. It doen't matter what program, or analog gear they use. It's independant of what you use, regardless.

but i mean to have it mixed and mastered, because i cant mix very well yet.

I see.

I do mixing and mastering for a few different indie labels. I use Audition for my mixing DAW.

I'd be happy to help you out when you're ready.

thats sick. when were done recording i may just have to take you up on that offer.

Mastering is something that takes a lot of practice and skill. It's not as much about what programs or gear you use, as it is about your monitors, your room, your ears, and your good judgment. If you don't have good skill at mixing yet then I doubt you are ready to attempt mastering.

That would be like trying to pilot a Boeing 747 full of passengers without ever having flown anything prior. In other words, maybe you should learn to crawl before you run.

Agreed.

I've been mastering for 4 years now, and only over the last 2 years have I offered the service to clients.
