if i buy any condensor mic, do i neeed to buy a phantom power supply

if not.. can i find a mic that doesnt need me to buy a mic pre-amp for under $150 or around that price

Yes, you need phantom power for a condensor. I guess you don't have a mixer, or if you do that your mixer has no phantom power?

As for your second question, it all depends on what you want to record. Details, please.

i wanna record sum hip hop/rock music... and i am planning on recording on my computer, i alredy have adobe audition

i was thinkin of gettin da MXL V63M Condensor Studio Mic w/ Shock Mount

im new to this so what sum other things i need with a mic

Since the V63 is a condensor you will need a pre-amp or a mixer with phantom power. No way around it. You might also consider the V67, which is a very good budget mic that works well on most vocals.

What's your budget like? What else do you already have, if anything? A computer? Any software?

budget- $200
Software- Adobe Audition 1.5
I also have turntables wit a mixer.. but da mixer dusnt have phantom power

do i need anythin else to buy with the mic tho??

You could get a Beyer M69 from fullcompass.com for $192, that is a good quality dynamic mic you could use with your mixer, it would be good for studio and live vocals.
