hi first off im propper sorry if this has been said before or sounds silly etc.
right well i have a Padkontrol which i have used fine in other DAW but now im on ableton live (8) and i cant understand why it won't work
the preferences as far as i can see are set up correctly and ableton is acknowledging the padkontrol (small light in the right hand corner) however i can't assign any functions to any pads/ knobs. The only thing that does anything is knob 2 (which is automatically set to control the master volume) when i try to assign to pads or knobs using the midi tool (right hand corner) it still acknowledges the device but does nothing in the way of assigning :/
I'm really confused and Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks
