Well, buying a house has to be the damndest set emotional stress's ever conceived by man. Even more than sex
Friday evening I watched the news. Local Oregon tv. A "B" story.
"Sacramento mortgage lender closes it doors today, leaveing hundreds of loan applicants in limbo, and could cause thier loan deadlines to default"
Thats me. I got a call from my loan broker this morning saying my loan was among those. It was my lender
Wha the (&^@_(&^&%@#@!@!%&^(%&@! is going on!!!! My broker had 27 loans in process through this lender. She got an email from the lender Friday, but had gone camping for the weekend. She got it this morning. It said "Thanks for the ride." Wha the@(^%#^&^&& blazes!!! They had accepted over 200 loans last week alone. I smell an @#%$)$%$$%% Ennron rat!!
Our contract deadline for the closing is on next Friday.
I get another call from the real estate agent. She's freaking. We made a deal with the owner, whereby we could move into the house prior to it closing, in trade for cleaning up the house and property. This was until the loan closed. NOW, the owner has decided they hope it doesn't go through, because they want to move back in.
During this month of agony, my wife, because of the positive feedback from the loan broker and approvals, decided to move most of our belongings from Sacramento, in order to save money on storage units. It would have been much cheaper. $600 in dump fees alone so far. We have now been informed the owner has already inquired how they can remove us the day after Friday if our new loan does not close in time.
It just so happens that our closest neighbor, who was the owners neighbor for 15 yrs, just happens to be the listing agent.
She just left.
She just told me that the Polebarn, may not be on MY property. Wha the @#%$*%^&@#&&%% crap is going on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This property is almost impossible to determine property lines unless surveyed. Big $ under these circumstances.
Pardon me while I have a brain hemorage.
Lets see, its still early, maybe the day will get better. Like have a heart attack
I'm starting to dislike Oregon by the minute.
Meanwhile, pardon my saga contributions. Only can hope that other prospective home buyers will heed my warning. STOCK UP ON NERVE PILLS!!!
