should i turn my master out all the way up and control the volume witht he channel volume..or should i keep my master out down and crank the channel volume?

Experiment. You will get different tones doing each one.

If you want it the cleanest you can get for a given volume, turn the master all the way up and regulate the volume with the channel volume. If you want it the dirtiest you can get, turn the channel volume all the way up and regulate it with the master. Somewhere in the middle will get you, well, somewhere in the middle.

It's a Mesa. Turn up that Master volume to push your tubes hard enough.

if i turn it on 9 or 10 it sounds like its goign to blow my cab..well my cab does suck lol its a Hartke lol im plannig to upgrade after i sell my crate head lol
