Bling bling bling, I think he quit\got sacked after being obtained by canadian customs for some time, he was lucky not spending years in yail for brining loads of acid\and ect through customs.

after that I think he Did some more drugs and formed motorhead :)
Just read that Hawkwind is on tour with Motorhead.....or has done some recent gigs with them. Quite funny, now that this popped up here.

Hey guys thanks for checking it out :)

Icanus- It's funny too when you think you're trying something totally different and still end up in your "style"

I've heard some of your songs on here too & I think I'm one of the ones who wrote "poppy" in one of the reviews... it's kind of funny though, cause I wouldn't consider any modern pop "poppy" So meaning that as a compliment it probably goes back to what I would consider a good poppy fun feel, like the beatles/beach boys or something.

Variaxman - thanks man, I'd guess my songwriting/playing has gone to different areas ever since I started writing instrumentals. It's kind of like a sudden freedom of not having to think about verses/choruses and so on... and I just let the emotion carry it from there...

Thanks again guys, I might never go surfing now, I might lose the touch... but hmm... what happens when you stick a VERY clumsy guy on a small board being thrown around by waves??

I like this Snake, but at about 4:15 is where it kicks for me. Keep on surfin' rockin' sockin'!! :D

Hey thanks a lot True :D I have to go back real quick & see what 4:15 is exactly... Hey! That's really cool actually that you meantioned that... that's honestly what I intended to be the main climax that everything was building up to... good call ;)

Snake, I really like the sound of the guitar strings on the intro. The rythym section is good. The bass has a bit more of the upper mid tones than I'd prefer, I'd trim the top off a bit. The drums could ease back a tad and let that rythym mate with the top end of the drum kit a bit more. I can see you are getting pretty deep into imagery, thats what enjoy most myself. At about :35 it sounded like a knob was turning on something or a volume pedal. Nice vision. I`ve listened several times over the last couple of days. I might shorten the vamp on the end a bit .

OH YEAH! What everyone else said. Great vibe, nice feel...Surfin' naked except for the cowboy hat.

Hey what are those drums. Snare sounds great.

RAMI,
thanks for listening ;) I like the imagery there, combining the spagetti western + surfing into a surfer with a cowboy hat (haha, not sure where naked comes in  )

& the drums, Simon Phillips plays my drums lately... well actually his classic rock loop set does, here's how he recorded them http://www.sessionloops.com/html/recording_details.html Ever since I broke up with my eX (she had the drumset  ) I just got tired of searching/combining for different loops trying to make them sound real or match my songs, so I just went ahead and bought the whole collection on there... don't regret it at all :D Probably mixed & matched them for 20 songs already

someday I'd love to have my own set :D

Toki,
thanks for the suggestions. I'll give them a try later & see how they sound ;) And you're right, there's a lot of imagery in the way I write songs , especially since a lot of my songs are based off of stories or scenes from my writing. So that's cool the song reflects it. I even go as far as trying to set the mood where I record sometimes... fun stuff

I think the volume thing you're refering to is the swelling in the chords right when the drums kick in. That's actually me playing around with the wammy bar to drop one chord down to the next. I liked the feel it created :)
