Excess music expressed through the "red butt" as a "destressor" of the primary protagonist requires large protrusions of bass and sub bass to excercise the orific, the woofer & its sub (limated) woofer confreres.
An ambit claim with an inssousant ambience will require aural intake with nothing less than open backed headphoes to allow the free flow of sound with outstanding waves in the seated zone.
Passengers will please refrain from taking and place their meal trays in the upright position prior to placing heads between their knees for the encore.
When the buzzer sounds and the banana bends, you've had it.
I prefer the red ones myself
Though the orange ones aren't bad.
At 7.34 I felt the piece lacked a certain j'n'c'est qualm.
Replete with the illustrations and the medical kit supplied I felt this was a pheasant surprise albeit somewhat under glass.
Was it the Tuff Monks who opined "Hammer the Hammer"?

By god, if that don't explain it then I don't know what will. I was just wondering, and I know I don't really want to know the answer, but where exactly does the banana go? Please keep your answer to a minimum! But keep me informed, bydamned.

its a bit long huh? ;)

Ive been recording it all week and didnt have anywhere to go with it...so i thought id just post it anyway

I couldnt keep up my "art" pretence any longer :D

at least mine were cut n paste quotes about abstract art...this is how Ray actually speaks ;)

lol

LMAO.. kc, you crack me up.

Cool stuff. Love the vocals.

The concern at 7.34 is that there is silence; as in something missing; that is to say the song ended. The length was/isn't a problem at all as I took the journey willingly and enjoyed it as a springboard to the keyboard.
Unfortunately KC, you have opened the door to the calcium cupboard! I am found out!
More interesting however is the Bowification of quotes relating to abstract art. I had great success with an abstract class just a week ago - one of the kids pulled out a 1st prize amongst almost 200 figurative entries. Not that I wanted the squids to relate art to prize winning - just that in the midst of my neobowie song mix I have a good lesson that leads to success for a student that ties in with you cutting criticism into art.
P.S. I love texture in red.
No one knows where the banana goes unless one is in the throws of having the banana go.

I was going to be a right artistic prick in my answers but I thought folks would believe it lol

anyway just a bit of fun :)

Ummm...

This thread reminded me of this for some reason:

im on episode 8 of the 45 Monty Python original episodes...i dont find them lol funny anymore, but still strangely entertaining/compelling....I love seeing the outside shots of the UK back in the early 70s too....

what I found with this track is you can drop Ableton down to 20 bpm to record intricate solos parts with no real quality issues if they are midi based ( this track is only 60-70bpm anyway)...Ive tried it with audio but anything over or under 10 bpm of the target starts to show...so no super guitar solos yet...boooo! :)

hardly one for the purists..but frankly I dont give a damn

Keith, have you been at that bottle of Merlot again or was it the CA sun you lapped up by the pool.....:drunk:
:D
Whatever it was, it made you throw up a very interesting electronic morsel. Yes, it's so dissonant it's close to jazz. Miles Davis's and jazz's appeal to me has always been equal to that of a chinese man eating a bowl of rice in....guess where? China! Yes one could view it as art, but in the end, what is art, when not the eyes and ears of the beholder? This is perfect as accompaniment to some wierd video (Hollywood take note.....).

Yeah, I was excited to find them in syndication recently, but forgot how bad many of the sketches actually were. Loved that stuff when I was like 13 or something. Still think their movies are great though.

I have listened to this a few times now. What is the Miles Davis connection? I really had a hard time getting past the singer. Once the beat kicked in around 2/3rds through I really liked the rest a lot (except for the return of the singer).

I guess I just need a beat to go along with something like this. I really enjoyed the last 1/3 of it though. Cool panning with all sorts of strange sounds coming at you from all around, yet more musical than the beginning. Rhythmically very interesting and probably one of my favorite parts to any of your tunes I've heard.

Porduction-wise it seemed excellent. A nice full and wide sound. Great clarity. I didn't even know there was a tune in this thread at first. Is that a painting of dingleberries in the first post?

lol...I was trying to be all jazzy...even the initial drum beat is just the midi from the mallet assigned to different drums/sounds...like experimental man..pushing the boundaries...jazz...drunk..:)

You could make stuff like this full time and end up a right pretentious wanker...me I just like being a regular wanker..that was my lot :D

watching TV you used to love is like meeting your heroes..you always leave disappointed..Im just watching as much as I can from that era and really enjoying how awful it was...great stuff

its a tale of three tunes...the miles davis connection is the fella wrote some excellent jazz and that my electro jazz thing was miles from miles davis :)

Im not sure why I posted it...I was just really trying to get an analogue sound and it kinda is, well the synth is a bit....and Im glad the production sounds good...also I did this all in ableton for first time

thanks for listening guys, and the comments..probably more than it deserved
