Im new here and since Im a long time home recorder I feel a little embarrassed that i havent found this place earlier. Maybe introduce myself with a tune.

Well, I did this a few days ago after having a period of mental shut down regarding music and recording. My first instrument is guitar but to cure myself I just started my DAW and jumped into hyperspace. Didnt know what was going to happen the next beat. To my surprise it was really fun and constructive. Total freedom to just do whatever that gets in your mind at that specific moment. It turned into this.

Feel free to comment in any way. Its always useful to get comments. Im still learning! :)

Pretty Good Tune - but I’m sorry to say a bit boring - I don’t care about the Synth Hits - and Rhythm is kept me in the game.

I wanted to hear the bass more. It's obvious at the end of course, so I think it's getting masked by other stuff when the tune's busier. The percussion bits in the middle are impressive. You said you did the whole thing in a DAW? Which one? How?

Big fan of synth pads, pattern groove type stuff, thought the "horn" stabs sounded awesome! Like the ambience/nature sounds at the end bass is cool . Very cool stuff man, I like it!!!

Thanks! I know its a bit boring but as it went that became my plan. One theme all over in different stages.

I used (among others) The Handy Drum Latin plugin from GoranGrooves, Omnisphere and ADSRD drum machine. The DAW im using is Cubase 12.

Great feel and athmosphere. The arrangement, mix and mastering are awesome. Wonders how you get such power without distortion. For a birdwatcher such outros are always wellcome! :-)

Real pleasing sounds. I liked the addition of the brass section. The rhythm parts are really cool.

Each section of the song goes on a bit long and things get close to being too repetitive. Since it's (mostly) a non-vocal piece, you need to change things up more frequently than if there is a vocal to keep up listener interest. You generally do that, for example, like adding brass and a spoken vocal section. It's just that each of those sections gets a bit long.

Nice .. I Love all the percussion changes in this. Great work .. ms

Thanks! Its ment to be a bit like of a stream of sounds. I think. :) I didnt have any thought when i started so i it is what it is. Big up for listening!
