You got a point there, Zarathustra, but we weren't talking about musicianship, we were talking about gear and recording quality, that is, after my thread was hijacked. Pinky, maybe you should have started your own thread on this, jeez!

Hijacking (technically) would have me coming into the thread talking about bananas (off topic) and sending it off on a fruit tangent. It just happens things got a little wordy in clarifying some posts. Par for the course on any BBS I've ever been a member of. So, I'm basically saying that hijacking has intent and there was no intent here. Sorry if you didn't like my contribution in the thread you started. You seemed engaged in the subject.

Are you still looking for feedback on the mix?

In terms of everything. Playing, arranging/writing, recordings, etc, etc, etc.

I do realize that I am "different" than most people. I am never satisfied - that has it advantages, but it's disadvantages as well.........

Nicely played... The primary guitar sounds a tiny bit muddy, it doesn't have the same sparkle in the EQ curve as the vocals do...

Sounds like you're pulling back a little vocally, like you were trying to level match with a low monitor during recording. Sing out, you have a nice voice...

If you like playing Croce tunes, I suggest grabbing Pete Huttlinger's DVD on playing like Croce. It's wonderfully done, and will open a lot of doors for you with playing in that inimitable style...
