I can right click and save the mp3...listened to 'gone' and 'sarah'.
Gone- I like the singer's voice quite a bit, but the drum playing is pretty anemic and the verses of the song seem to drone on a bit too long. I think the kick and bass are masking each other quite a bit (same frequencies), but I'm listening with headphones, so...I like the snare, maybe some more ass to it though would work nicely...
Sarah- I think the lead vox need to be brought up in teh mix, back vox sound really good, but the lead/back don't play well together to my ears. I like this song better than 'gone', not that you care

I listened to 'Gone.'
I thought the singer has a nice voice, and I liked the melody line. I liked the way the guitar parts worked together.
It's a pretty quiet mix, the average level seems pretty low.
I'm having a little trouble hearing the vocals clearly. They lack just a little clarity, and to a certain extent they're covered by the guitars.
Little guitar syncing issue at :06. Vocal syncing issue (I think) at 1:16.
Some clicking around 2:39-2:46. More later on in the song.
Some pitchiness in the harmonies around 2:48.
It's difficult to hear the first several seconds of the lead guit part around 3:12.

Thanks for the opinions guys. We still have the Pro Tools tracks so we can still edit the mixes...any other advice on the mixes?

listened to 'dear friend'
good song.. seems very light in the bass range.. can barely hear any bass. the level of the mix is pretty quiet.. my biggest complaint is the lack of bass.. if you raise the bass there might be other tweaks needed..

We are re-mixing these songs. Please help me out! We're having trouble getting the proper EQ. Everything comes up straight across at the same levels. We're using the new Cubase. We need to fix this problem, it can't be the way it was recorded can it?
