A dimension of Zakk Wylde's playing that most probably haven't heard.
I always hear people say that he is all pinch harmonics and wailing. He has a touch and always plays with emotion. No low tuned pinch harmonics here, and a little different vibe than he usually has in his more well known songs:

Oh my...That was great stuff amra, thanks for the turn on...made my day!!! ;)

Machine Gun Man is another good song of his, especially the acoustic version.

I always liked his more mellow songs, not so much the heavy stuff though...

Check out "Farm Fiddlin'" off of Guitars that rule the word....and you can hear him do some Chicken Pickin'....

Boys' got chops...and to round it out...it's full of feelin'. When the guitar sings, it's being done right.

It would be really cool if Zakk would stop singing. It actually sounds more like yawning angrily, or as if he blows phlegm bubbles every time he opens his mouth. Other than that, he does indeed kick much ass with his gitter, altho' sometimes he overdoes it a bit for my tastes. I like shred, but there's not always a time and a place for it... o heck - that's my 2 cents

cool, I'm not much of a Zakk fan. but he has his moments. This solo sounds familiar to something... might just be the scale tho..

p.s (Jack White rulez!!)
