A couple tunes from our latest show

DAn, nice tunes...the playing sounded very good, and I think they are good live recordings...well done man.

Love the feel of Cosmic Twine...sort of has a Middle Eastern vibe.

Both songs have very cool sounds..really like em man.... :cool:
 
Thanks Ed! The middle eastern vibe happens alot with our lead player. He likes to use modes, and one he frequently uses, I think it's phrygian, gives that kinda vibe.
 
Cosmic Twine - cool tune.....
- the whole mix seems uber-compressed
- the lead's too low, on the recording, probably because you have to compensate for the amp. I have a number of old live recordings where that's the case... :(
- sounds more like a board mix than an overheads mix
- this would likely blow me away if I heard it live as it sounds super nice even in this mix...

Cosmic Twine is very cool. :) I have heard this before, I remember it. That says something because it was probably over a year or 2 ago on RP and I have listened to 1000s of songs since then. :cool:

I cant judge the recording. One would have to be there, but the band sounds very good. :cool:

Thank you, I appreciate that. I have a hard time being objective, and even though I may think we sound OK am afraid we may suck out loud.
