Hey, have a US 122 and like it but I think i need more inputs for a full band sound. I had my eye on the Presonus Firepod although it would require a new PC (It needs an overhaul anyways). Any thoughts on this?

Firepod seems good for the price, I have a tascam FW1082 which has a control surface and MIDI as well as 8 ins for another $100. Only 4 mic pres though.
There's an ex demo firepod at sweetwater at the moment for $350 (usually sells for $500).

yeah but Im form Ireland, by the time i pay postage and import etc itd still cost me a fair bit. But the firepod does look like my best bet, cheers mate.

cool cool, how are you finding availability of gear over there? Seems the yanks are spolied for choice. I was gonna try some online stores in Europe, id avoid import duty in the EU.
