I am about to buy a new guitar and I can get the Albert Lee Ernie Ball or the Fender 52 RI Tele. Any suggestions?

I find the neck on some Ernie Ball guitars (and the Albert King is one) to be very thin. Too thin for me.

BINGO!!!! When I played it the neck felt very odd almost child sized. Right now I use a soft v 7 1/4 with a vintage nitro gloss and the ernie ball neck is what concerned me. I was wondering if it was just me.

Thanx for the input.

I absolutely love EBMM guitars. They are top notch construction and blow away most Fenders IMO. However, I know that to a lot of people they feel too small. One guy even told me that to him it's like playing a ukelele...

I've never played a Fender RI that I liked. To me they feel too bulky, and the fretboard radius is way smaller than I like..... 7" if memory serves. I would go for a G&L any day over a Fender. Or even better a Melancon: best value in a hand built strat today. A little more modern feeling though, and you might not like that. If you want a hand built axe w/ a vintage vibe, Don Grosh guitars have a good rep, though they are overpriced IMO.

got mojo?
