Well, that depends. Did you walk to work or bring your lunch?

Trust me on this... if the plugs weren't plugged up you would know it right away.

Well ... it depends, there are two sides to every plug you know! and if the plug is in is it a plug-in?

Well shit, so long as all your plugs are plugged up it should just work. right?

My toliet is plugged up. Hence I am plugged up.

You need RCA cables. Probably something else too, and you can't buy it at Radio Shack.

The cables arent the problem. It's probably an IRQ conflict between the SB and your Delta.

Q: my sound card is AWE64 i think,im running windows 98 and i have all the normal sounds,i juss cant get it 2 recieve any?

A: OK, swampy, let me get this straight.

You can HEAR the connected device from the LINE IN, but, you can't RECORD the device from the LINE IN?

Q: right

Swampy - You might want to check the following thread:

http://www.homerecording.com/bbs/showthread.php?threadid=49130

Double check that you do not have the line-in volume muted. Go into Control Panel / Multimedia. Make sure "Show volumne on task bar" is checked. Then double click on the volume control on the task bar. remember there are seperate setting for both playback and recording, you switch between them by going to options / properties.

Clark, you've misunderstood the question. Swampy didn't say "plugged," he said "pluged". I think that rhymes with "luge." I personally don't have the familiarity with that term nor the technical expertise to help, so the fact that I am posting means I'm just wasting bandwidth.

Imagine ...

Just a softening of the Zappa coinage, "pluked".
As in:
I pluked my toaster then I pluked my TV.
